According to my employee handbook, we aren’t allowed to blog or facebook about work. Everyone does it though, I just choose to keep it vague and nice.
If you know me, you know where I work. You know what I do. You know what I started out doing and how it all began and how I got to the place I am at currently.
Today, it was my last day for this season at my home base. Starting Monday, I open a new store for the season and holy smokes, I’m going to be in charge. How the heck did that happen? I do have a lot of people on my side but I also know there are people out there who can’t wait for me to fall on my face and cry which hey, just might happen. I am pregnant after all. 22 weeks in case you haven’t been keeping track.
If you are local, come support me. Come visit and hey, if I don’t have what you want, I can order it for you!! Just find out how. Want a job? I just might have an opening or two when my head count goes up. I’ll see what I can do!
The point of my post? Just like I posted last week, if you thought my posts were infrequent lately, they are bound to be more sparse. I’m sorry. I will do my best but honestly, I’ll be on the clock for 40 hours and probably off the clock for 10 or more each week. Should be interesting. 20 days until Black Friday and since the mall opens at midnight on Thanksgiving, it’s 19 days until the absolute craziness starts.
