The Fresh Beat Band!

A few years ago, the girls found the show The Fresh Beat Band on Nick Jr. I really didn’t like it at first. It was annoying, the dancers were constantly messing up like they had not practiced in ages and it was just annoying. Fast forward to last night and it was a TON of fun!!!

Last year, we almost borrowed money so we could get tickets to either Scranton or Buffalo. Turns out, they added another leg to the tour and they stopped here in Binghamton!!! It was an excellent show!

We got to the Arena pretty early and had some popcorn and then got anxious as 7PM arrived and the band didn’t. Typical band fashion!

(oh how I worry this kid will end up like Steven Paige. He’s CRAZY obnoxious!!)

I also took a bunch of videos but they are shaky and you can hear me singing so I think I’ll pass on posting those for the world to see.

We had excellent seats!! I’m so glad we got the tickets when we did because if we had waited any longer, we wouldn’t have been able to go. Buying that van really put a kink in our finances this year but it was worth it and this splurge was wonderful. It reminds me about how great it is to be on stage, performing for the people. Jimmy was laughing at me because as usual, I had the tears of excitement flowing. Add in the pregnancy hormones and this Momma was almost sobbing.

The first act went by way too fast!! Jimmy had to remind me that it’s a kid’s show and it was short for them but I wanted more!!

That little peanut was exhausted!! Exhausted from a few days worth of school and she was pretty upset that she couldn’t go on stage with the band. She was jumping and dancing and singing!

The second half was way better! They sang all the popular songs that I know the words to and even threw in some new songs. They have a new album coming out soon (they said.)

Poor Kiki! Allergies or a cold, she kept coughing and blowing her nose. It didn’t stop her from smiling and dancing all out! Just like a great performer should!!
