Playing outside

There are a few friends in our area that we like to play with. Not all the neighbors are awful. (if you follow me on FB you know what I’m talking about)

Alex fell off the monkey bars at school and broke a bone near his elbow. Poor dude. Will be in this cast for much of the summer. He’s a great kid though and I wish all the kids in our area were like him and the mother’s were like his. Then we wouldn’t have so much trouble around here.

Alyssa is a little diva! She’s a great friend of Sonyea’s. Just recently got her ears pierced too. She’s so brave!!

Sometimes, we have to play outside by ourselves because our good friends are in school all day long. It can get boring so we have to invent our own games.

I can’t take a good picture without Sonyea making her peace signs. She has no idea why she does it or what it means. Crazy kid!

Remember that child that didn’t have any hair??

Look at that mess. It’s super thick too! I am not happy with the shampoo we’ve been using for her. What do you use on your kids??

When nobody is around, life can be pretty boring. The game of the day, grab all the animals that will fit in the boat and play hide-n-seek. Hide the animals while the girls pretend to close their eyes and let them find them. Sometimes, it’s pretty difficult.

We’ve set up our patio garden again. Most of the plants didn’t survive the “spring” we had. We ended up starting everything too early and transplanted too early and most of them died. This is round two. Moving some of the pots as the sun moves is not easy.

Found this idea somewhere online. Cinder blocks full of dirt housing some vegetables. Hoping to get some great food this summer again.
