Walk this way

I decided this morning that I wanted to check out the Farmer’s Market at Otsiningo Park. We brought a few dollars hoping to find something I had to have. It didn’t happen but it got us out to the Park again. Second time in TWO DAYS!! Sonyea rode her bike again with some bitchin’ along the way. My feet hurt, my legs hurt… etc. We walked around the pond and around the playground. If memory serves me right, that’s just over 2 miles. There were a few short bursts of racing Sonyea too. No wonder my butt hurts! I’m hoping to utilize the walking park that is only a quarter mile away. It could really do us some good. Vicky tagged along with us again today. I bet she’s exhausted too!

My favorite part about these parks is the wildlife. We found a bench along the river and took a break while watching the birds. I couldn’t get as many photos as I wanted, just couldn’t get the camera on the right setting to take the action shots of the birds. The above is a Red-wing black bird. I love the vibrant reds on the males!!

This guy was taking a nice bath. Dunking and diving and shaking and preening. I love Canada geese!! I suspect the mate was off in the bushes near by incubating eggs.

“Can you feel the love tonight?”

Then the craziness started!!

This is the life of a three year old who can’t quite keep up walking and hasn’t mastered the bike yet! Lucky kid!

And, they were so good on our walk they were rewarded by some play time at the playground!!
