I finally convinced Jimmy to volunteer to be Mystery Reader at school. Because of his work/sleep schedule, Mrs Bennett was kind enough to let him go first thing in the morning.
Yesterday, I got her hair all wet and then put in two tight buns. Look at how cute her hair turned out today! And she planned to wear her pretty blue dress to school. Perfect outfit for her Daddy’s visit.
He read a book called “This way Ruby.” Since their letter of the week is Q and the song includes a duck, this was a perfect book. Good choice Daddy!
Mrs Bennett said it was good to have male voice in class for a change. My girls really do have a great Daddy, even if he drives us crazy sometimes!
Zia informed me too that she wants to be a Mystery Reader sometime. I told her when she goes to Mrs Bennett’s class in a few years she can be a Mystery Reader too.
