With the weather so stinkin’ nice lately, we had to take advantage of it. After gymnastics we packed up the car for a trip to Otsiningo Park for dinner. Jimmy grilled hot dogs while the girls played. We had fun and the girls didn’t want to leave.
Sonyea spent a lot of time running and jumping through this chain. She also spent a lot of time tripping up and landing on her face. Bad Mom award, I laughed at her every time and now I feel guilty. She has horrible bruises on the fronts of her ankles because of it. Poor thing.
And of course, practicing the balance beam for gymnastics. She did a little bit of work on the bar too to strengthen her arms. I hope to spend a lot of time this summer working on her upper body strength so she can thrive next year at gymnastics!! She loves it.
