The girls love to play at Alaina and Callie’s house. They beg to go swimming over there, they love the snacks that Lisa always has (but won’t eat the same things here at home), the toys are the coolest and we end up in a time warp when we visit there. One hour there is actually 2 hours in the real world. We usually end up there for an entire day not meaning for that to happen.
Alaina is just a few days older than Sonyea and just loves to color. Sonyea recently has picked it up as well. She won’t spend nearly as much time as Alaina coloring but she’s spending a fair amount of it now. Color wonder and Color Explosion is her choice of medium all of a sudden.
I thought it would be fun to try making a snack project. The girls enjoyed mixing the granola up but when it came time to eating it, meh, they didn’t care. Sonyea tried it and said it was yummy but that’s about it. I don’t think Alaina even tried it. Me and Lisa on the other hand ate most of it. It was pretty darn good and relatively healthy.
The girls have been playing together since before their second birthdays and have really become friends. Now especially since Alaina likes to talk! HA
