Rainy day crap project

You’d think by now we’d be used to the rain.  Stuck inside during the doom and gloom.  Last Friday was just one of those days.

Nope, even little kids get tired of being stuck inside, driving their Mommies and Daddies CRAZY! Today was one of those days. Driving us crazy, so it was time to pull out something different to do.

Back when we were closing the Express Store down, there was some things that I took instead of throwing them in the trash. For instance, 7 feet long pieces of white paper. Perfect for rolling out in the living room and using it to draw on.

Sometimes, little fingers missed the paper and drew on themselves, or Mommy used highlighters from Miss Deby to paint in toe nails.

Sometimes, you just get covered in markers when you are just trying to draw people.

And one certain member of our family gets a little put out when there’s paper in the place they like to lie (or is it lay??).

Or some people just want to lay around instead of coloring.

The funniest part about this whole experience is hearing Sonyea say “I want to do a crap project.” No matter how much you correct her and tell her it’s “craft” she still says crap. I love it! Another of her words is “nook” instead of “look.” I try to correct it but it just happens. Someday, she’ll get it right but I’ll still smile over the “Nook at my crap project, Mommy”
