I really can’t explain it. Sometimes, the best pictures don’t come from the most expensive camera. This one, was taken by Beth on her phone. I really, really, really love the colors on these pants so when I saw this picture, I fell in love with it. They came in the hand-me-down bag and they’ve gotten more use than some of the clothes we’ve bought. AND they’ve lasted. No holes, rips or stains. They keep on wearing and she’ll keep wearing them until they either are destroyed or they are too small.
The rain was coming down really hard on Friday. We were trying to have fun without going outside. She was standing at the door watching it rain cats and dogs. I told her I’d give her a dollar if she ran outside.
Not what I had in mind. She didn’t actually get the dollar for standing in the puddle outside the door.
Now that was funny! Jimmy took off his glasses and hiked up his pants, grabbed her and ran.
A few weeks ago, we had a picnic on the back patio. (for the record, the beer. . . Jimmy’s!)
