Look what happens when Mother Nature drops too much rain. She’s a cruel woman. Over the course of this past winter we got too much snow. It snowed and snowed and snowed. We spent a lot of time outside. Once it all finally melted, that’s when the rains came.
The storms that hit the last 3 days were pretty intense. Not nearly as intense as the tornadoes down south but there was an EF3 not far from here the other day. Lots of wind damage around here and thank goodness the neighbors cut down that half dead tree a few months back because it WOULD have fallen down last night.
The wind woke me up and the thunder woke up the girls not long after. We spent almost an hour in my bed watching tv before I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. Back to bed for everyone! This is what we found! Our local park/playground/creek/baseball field is now a large lake.
